Morrisons Group - Woodhead Bros Meat Company Limited

Woodhead Bros Meat Company Limited contacted us in October 1999 with fears that their current Personal Time and Attendance System was not year 2000 compliant. Our competitive pricing was the reason we were awarded the contract.

Due to the urgency it was decided that the project would be split into two phases. Phase 1, Time and Attendance, Phase 2, Personnel Database.

Woodhead Bros Meat Company Limited had very specific requirements as to how the Time and Attendance system was to operate but the systems primary purpose was to calculate the number of hours each employee worked over 24 hours.

On 27th December 1999, Woodhead Bros Meat Company Limited had a fully functioning networked client/server Time and Attendance System in place.

In 2000 phase 2 was actioned and the system was expanded upon to store and track Personnel data.

Woodhead Bros Meat Company Limited now have in excess of 600 employees clocking in and out of our system up to 8 times a day at their main site. The system is now in place on 2 sites in the UK with a 3rd site to be launched in 2008.

Truslit (Bury) Limited

Truslit (Bury) Limited contacted us in March 2000 requesting a document generation and management system to aid with the creation of invoices and despatch notes.

Truslit (Bury) Limited had very specific software requirements due to the complexity of their industry. Their needs were not being met by their existing software and paper based system which was cumbersome to use and didn't provide the needed additional management functions which would enable them to track their orders and associated documents.

In just 8 weeks of contacting CBS Solutions LLP, Truslit (Bury) Limited had in place a fully functional networked client/server database and bespoke software system to generate and track Customer Invoices and Despatch Notes.

Due to the success of this project, Truslit (Bury) Limited called on CBS Solutions LLP again to improve and build upon the bespoke software in order to encompass a whole range of documentation and management functions for order tracking, from quotations and order acknowledgements, through to detailed works order instructions, pallet labels, and a variety of other core functions.
